here we go again...school is closed today. fine with me, i love havin a day off w/ my girls, but there's literally only 2 inches of snow. what would we wimps do w/ new york's 12 friggin feet?!
Once again, I wish work was closed. All my close friends are teachers, and they're at home. My husband's office is closed today, too, and he's taunting me, telling me I should come home and eat ice cream with him.
Sorry, buddy... no work, no paycheck. Please, God, make the bosses let us go home!
The kids went to school for a day and a half this week. Why bother?! We haven't had snow or cold weather like this since I was a kid; I think we're all out of practice!

By the way, I was in Detroit last week. The cold was pure hell. 7 degrees on average. Happy to be home in 55 degrees.
Dr S, I just feel better knowing this wasn't a hellish dream, knowing that you have experienced and taken home a postcard of our winter dementia.
