For free

You may have heard that our little rugged churchplant has been growing and has now exceeded all space options (Kids were all asked to sit on parents laps..) LOVE this kind of "Problem" ;)

But a fellow with connections set up a meeting with another man of means who owned a fabulous old-school theatre/jazz club downtown. After several months of bantering we picked up the keys to it.

And this 1.2 million dollar building was given to us. For free.

Most of us just crapped our pants. It's overwhelming and wonderful. Not even so much to have the building - but the journey for our pastors - meeting in small living rooms, starting a churchplant over, emotional and relational duress, working with very little and yet still dreaming of a place where we could affect the Green Bay downtown. Not necessarily with "churchiness", but with help. More details to come....

Just heard that news from Holly. Congratulations! Oh, and call her for the "Quote of the Day." Maybe of the year.

We are SO happy for Adullam! God has moved mountains for you. In the future this testimony over you will shine in difficult moments to help you keep your focus on Him and not on the "problematic situation". Yea rah, God!

You know what I thought was really cool about the whole thing. Not so much the giving of the building, (cause that was cool, really cool) but more the unity of everyone that was there on Tuesday night praying. I have been involded in getting new building before, but they have never gone smoothly within the church. The fact that everyone is altogether about this is so very amazing. I can't wait to see how God use this for His kingdom.

any group that is focused on people and not on "churchiness" will be rewarded; God get just as tired of "churchiness" as we do. Jesus is the proof! People got P.O.ed at Him in the temple all the time...He never did it the way they wanted Him too:)
