Reading the B.

OK - Got the Barack book (1st one) and it's good . 1/4 way through a monstrous Winston Churchill bio - so far he's a prig. The book is a monster - so he's got time to progress... Anybody else like this guy?

Love him. He was a bit of a ____ as a youngun, but he did improve with age. Besides all one's favs seem to have a wart or two to keep them real. However, must admit that the monster of a book that I lugged home to In from Mex got lugged back again without advancing a page. Maybe I just find him more riveting when my library consists of one shelf instead of one building ... (You don't happen to be reading the tome by Roy Jenkins, are you?)

No, Martin Gilbert. It was a toss-up. More photos always wins. Lame but true.
