The aftermath

Yesterday the amazing cluster of Cedar's fav local pals joined us in celebrating his 5th B.D. Kids faces were pummeled with inflatable balls, Afton developed a facial rash from eating too much sugar, C's angel food cake needed a chain saw to cut it, All the water ballons were "mysteriously" popped in the cooler while we ate and so much more...

I fearfully asked Cedar (who can't walk normally because he had been drinking -soda- an twisted his ankle), "Son, how, um, was your party?"

He answered, "Awesome!"

as long as he had fun that's all that matters! Partied never turn out how we mamas "plan" them! Next time for fun, go to the dollar store and get a bunch of silly string and have a silly string fight! I am telling you I don't know who had more fun at Zachary's B-day party last year...the kids or the parents!! LOL!

not only do they not work out like we plan, it often takes us far longer to recover than it takes the children:)

I just wanted to thank you for your comment! It's nice to know there are others who have been there, done that and are still in the ministry. Everything you said was very nicely put!
